Only congress delegates, with a valid badge, have access to session rooms. Seating is regulated on a first-come, first-served basis.

You can easily browse through scientific programmes with its user-friendly interface. Filter your search by day, session type, and speaker. You can even create your own personal programme thanks to the personal planner feature!

The app doesn’t necessarily require an internet access. You can use the app offline but please note that some features will only be updated when you’re online e.g. news, tweets, etc.

Certificate of attendance

A Certificate of Attendance for the 16th European Multidisciplinary Congress on Urological Cancers will be available at www.emuc.org as of Tuesday, 12 November. To obtain your certificate, please go to this website, log-in with your credentials, and fill out the questionnaire first.


Cloakroom/Luggage

A cloakroom is available and is at participants’ disposal during congress hours. Please be sure to collect all personal belongings at the end of the day.

Congress bag

Each delegate can collect a congress bag at the registration area.


Currency

The official currency is the Euro (€).


Disclosure Request

At the beginning of their presentation(s) faculty is requested to disclose to the audience any links with the industry related to the topic of their lecture. A link can be: being a member of the advisory board or having a consulting agreement with a specific company.


Electricity

Electricity supply is 220 Volts and the connection is made by a two-pin plug.

Please be aware that delegates from the USA will require a voltage converter. Delegates from the United Kingdom will require a plug adapter.


Emergency Telephone Number

In case of emergency call the nationwide emergency number 112.


Exhibition

A technical exhibition will be organised jointly with the congress. For more information please contact the sales department via sales@congressconsultants.com.


Guests & children

In compliance with the Pharma Codes, we are not allowed to register guests (including children) and they can therefore not attend this event. Unfortunately, the EMUC office cannot offer any children’s day care facilities. If parents decide to leave their children in a part of the venue that is accessible without a badge, the EMUC office will bear no responsibility in case of incidents.


Insurance

The organisers do not accept responsibility for any personal damage. Participants are strongly recommended to arrange their own personal insurance.


Language

The congress will be conducted in English, there will be no translation provided.


Lost and Found

Found items should be returned to the registration desk. If you lose something, please report to this desk for assistance.


Mobile Phones

During all sessions, please switch your phone to silent and turn off your flash when taking pictures.


Networking

You can use the EMUC24 app to get in touch with other (online) delegates. This feature is off per default, you can turn it on by logging in to the app with your credentials under ‘My Profile’ menu in the top right corner. For more information on the networking opportunities go to ‘Networking’ under ‘App Help’, which you will find under ‘information’ in the app menu.


No-smoking Policy

Smoking is not allowed throughout the entire venue, including all exhibition areas, session rooms, registration and catering areas. All participants are kindly requested to respect the no-smoking policy, which also applies to e-cigarettes.


Photography & Filming

EMUC will be taking photos and doing some filming during and between sessions. If you would prefer not to be filmed or photographed, please let us know by sending an e-mail to: press@uroweb.org


Press

Journalists and medical/science writers can obtain free registration to the congress. Press registrations have to be made through the online registration system, more information can be found here. Journalists will receive a copy of the press pack and congress bag, to be picked up in the press centre.

Resource Centre & Webcasting of presentations

The EMUC24 Resource Centre provides access to all scientific content related to the congress.

As delegate you can access all scientific content of EMUC24. All webcasts and full-text abstracts are easily accessible through the advanced search tool.


Security and Safety

The safety of all congress attendees is of the utmost importance. The venue and EMUC have taken security precautions to ensure the maximum possible safety for all participants. All bags may be subject to inspection. Please take all personal belongings with you when leaving the session room.


Social Media

We are using social media at the congress to encourage an open discussion on onco-urology science and experiences at the congress. Faculty, opinion leaders, delegates and media share their ideas, commentary and photos on Facebook, Instagram, X and LinkedIn. We invite you to use the following hashtag #EMUC24 and tag @myESMO, @ESTRO_RT and @uroweb on social media channels to discuss the congress and join the conversation!


Speaker Service Centre (SSC)
All presentations should be handed in at the Speaker Service Centre at least three hours prior to the start of the session.


Webcasts

Various sessions will be webcasted via www.emuc24.org under the condition that the speaker agreed to that. These are recordings of individual lectures. You can access the webcasts as soon as they become available during or immediately after the congress. The content in this Resource Centre will be available up to 3 years after the congress.


Wi-Fi

Free wireless internet will be offered in all areas and session rooms.
