Late breaking abstract submission is open. Submit your abstract now. 

An abstract may be submitted as a late-breaking abstract if the abstract is of high scientific quality containing definitive results that were not available prior to the regular submission deadline of 1 August 2026. Preliminary data or results of marginal interest will not be considered.

Abstract Outcome

The abstract outcome is available via the abstract outcome page.
Abstract submitters should log-in with their credentials, and are able to see the outcome per abstract by clicking on the “EMUC26 Abstract outcome button”

The deadline for confirming your abstract is 12 October 2026, 23:59 CET. 
Please make sure you confirm your abstract via the outcome page, and that you are registered for the congress, before this date.

Poster Instructions

All abstract presenters of accepted abstracts are kindly invited to put up a poster in the poster area for the duration of the whole congress. Your poster will be on display from Thursday 5 November until Sunday 8 November 2026 as a physical poster in the poster area on poster boards.

Publication

Accepted EMUC26 abstracts will be available online via the EMUC Resource Centre, the EMUC app, and as an online supplement in European Urology Open Science (Elsevier). If you do not want your abstract published online please send an e-mail to emuc@congressconsultants.com.

NOTE: After the deadline of 12 October 2026, 23:59 CET, all accepted abstracts will be published in the European Urology Open Science Journal.  Please note that a completed registration is mandatory, and you must formally accept your invitation via the abstract outcome page. Only abstracts from presenting authors who have completed their registration and formally accepted their invitation will be published.

Abstract outcome and awards

If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to hang your poster for the duration of the congress, and you will be:

  • Eligible for awards
  • Invited to the exclusive Networking and Abstract Discussion session on Saturday, 7 November from 17:30 – 18:30 at the poster area
  • Given a rosette to highlight your poster onsite if it ranks among the highest-rated abstracts.

What are the types of abstract awards?
There are two (2) main types of abstract awards:

  • Best EMUC26 Abstract
    This award has subcategories: prostate cancer, urothelial cancer, renal tumour, testicular cancer and penile cancer. Six (6) exceptional abstracts covering these topics will be selected. The winners will be invited to do an oral presentation about their research during the EMUC plenary programme and receive an award.
  • Best Imaging Abstract
    Six (6) notable abstracts on imaging will be selected for this award. All the winners will be invited to do an oral presentation during the EAU Section on Urological Imaging Abstract Session on 13 November 2025. The top three (3) will receive cash prizes.
