Late breaking abstracts might be accepted when they are submitted before 1 October 2025.

You can submit the late breaking abstracts by clicking on the button below.

An abstract may be submitted as a late-breaking abstract if the abstract is of high scientific quality containing definitive results that were not available prior to the regular submission deadline of 1 August 2025.

Preliminary data or results of marginal interest will not be considered.

Publication

The accepted abstracts of EMUC25 are going to be published online in the EMUC resource centre, in the EMUC app and as an online supplement by Elsevier on European Urology Oncology Open Science. If you do not want your abstract published online please send an e-mail to emuc@congressconsultants.com.

Abstract outcome and awards

If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to hang a poster for the duration of the congress and you are:

  • Eligible for awards
  • Invited to the exclusive Networking and Abstract Discussion session on Saturday 15 November from 17:30 – 18:30 at the poster area
  • Given a rosette that will be placed on your poster onsite for added visibility when your poster is among the highest-rated abstracts

What are the types of abstract awards?
There are two (2) main types of abstract awards:

  • Best EMUC25 Abstract
    This award has subcategories: prostate cancer, urothelial cancer, renal tumour, testicular cancer and penile cancer. Six (6) exceptional abstracts covering these topics will be selected. The winners will be invited to do an oral presentation about their research during the EMUC plenary programme and receive an award.
  • Best Imaging Abstract
    Six (6) notable abstracts on imaging will be selected for this award. All the winners will be invited to do an oral presentation during the EAU Section on Urological Imaging Abstract Session on 13 November 2025. The top three (3) will receive cash prizes.
